So as a few of you may know I have a single 12 Re Sx I was planning on running at 1500 watts. My goal is to be in the 140's. I went with a single 12 for the fact of trunk space. Now Im thinking 2 10 inch Se's in about 1.5 cube a piece would be way louder. Can I wire 2 subs off a mono channel amp (bxi1608). What Voicecoils would I need to run at 1 ohm if its even possbiel

So do I stick with an Sx and try and hit 140's or get 2 10's. I have no problem keeping it but is this even a realistic goal to have?

you need two d4 subs to achieve 1 ohm load.

2 10" SEs won't be be much, if any louder. Your best bet to get into the 140s is to put the SX in a good box.

You will want a pair of dual 4 ohm subs if your looking to achieve a 1 ohm load.

well I can throw 1600 at it thats all my amp is rated for. Shoulda got the bxi2008d and thrown 2000 at it. If it blows it blows. I was also planing on a 2.5 cube box as everyone Ive talked to has gone from 2-3 so Ive figured Id go middle.
