Hmm, The dealer I called didn't know all that much about them.. Now, I wonder if the price he gave me was correct.. Seems kind of low compared to the other prices, some have posted..

Any forum dealers for DD ?

With the optional Carbon Fiber dustcap that price is probally close to right...and yes the only come in 4 ohm VC's

Just got off the phone with another dealer and they don't sell dd no more but, they do have some left, in stock, I have to call back tomorrow..

Umm, didn't you shoot a coil through one?

And remember, I like DD stuff, but man, you just ride DD's nuts WAY too hard.

I never shot a coil through an 8.....I made a post a while back where I played an Atomic 5000.1 on a DD 2512 which is a dual 2 It handled it like a champ...no coils burning no problems.....worked great...I'm guessing that was 2500rms.....then I strapped 2 Atomic 5000.1's to one DD 2512 about 10,000rms...I then blew the coil through the dust cap...Find me any $270 sub that can take 10,000rms and I'll buy it...not many subs can take 2500 rms playing music....

BTW if in question by anyone the DD 2512 RMS is 600 watts...400 watts on the DD 1508
