that looks like ALOT of neo for an 8"...

Just called my local dealer $250'ish for the pair, none in stock, bah.. Time to sell the bl..

Oh, + $25 for cf cap..

Edit: They only come in 4 or 8 ohm from what he said.. I forgot to ask if they are dual or single vc's. anyone know ?

I just called local dealer,

238 a piece //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I don't think that's right. Seems a little high.

OH and he said only single 4 ohm.

DD 1508's sell for about $170 each...the cf dustcap is optional...before they used the double stacked magnet they sold for about $150 each...The new ones were well worth the $20 increase in price.....I'm not sure of the cost of the optional CF dustcap...but it is real CF not plastic or decals...

Yes they do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif 152.5 on 4 DD 1508's...It don't get no better than that....And that was in a DD spec ported box.....No band pass...No transmission line....no weird horns just straight ported box.....That anyone can get the specs for on the DD website.....I can make them louder in an SPL box...tuned higher ...but I prefer low ground shaking pure deep bass.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Here we go again.

And the sad thing is that I run DD now.

But just as a reference, I did a 149.3 with ONE L7 8" and about 800 watts....at 40 hz. 140 in bassrace (my truck loses 5-6 db going sealed up), so in your precious USACi streetbeat I'd venture to say a mid-high 140 in streetbeat with one 8".

Didn't you blow some of them up? Yeah...thats what I thought.

Also, my score wasn't in a CRX.

Is this DD sub musical? what I mean is could you get some nice SQL for daily driving or is it a SPL oriented sub?

What kind of enclosures do they need sealed and ported?

I've never blew up a DD 1508 or a 1008 ...Tommy...I know how to hook up a system...I did have a surround come unglued at a show...but I still continued playing it even with the surround unglued...lol....I dropped it off at DD last wed to have a new surround put back on it....

In the great 8 test several months ago the DD 8 was one of the most musical subs ever tested that was against several big known brands...It pulled very impressive SQ results from small sealed enclousures of .6 cu. ft. I think they sound best in a ported box tuned around 40hz....

Umm, didn't you shoot a coil through one?

I remember you posting pics of it. Unless that was another DD sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

And remember, I like DD stuff, but man, you just ride DD's nuts WAY too hard.
