that looks like ALOT of neo for an 8"...
With the optional Carbon Fiber dustcap that price is probally close to right...and yes the only come in 4 ohm VC'sI just called local dealer, 238 a piece //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I don't think that's right. Seems a little high.
OH and he said only single 4 ohm.
Here we go again.Yes they do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif 152.5 on 4 DD 1508's...It don't get no better than that....And that was in a DD spec ported box.....No band pass...No transmission line....no weird horns just straight ported box.....That anyone can get the specs for on the DD website.....I can make them louder in an SPL box...tuned higher ...but I prefer low ground shaking pure deep bass.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
In the great 8 test several months ago the DD 8 was one of the most musical subs ever tested that was against several big known brands...It pulled very impressive SQ results from small sealed enclousures of .6 cu. ft. I think they sound best in a ported box tuned around 40hz....Is this DD sub musical? what I mean is could you get some nice SQL for daily driving or is it a SPL oriented sub?
What kind of enclosures do they need sealed and ported?
Umm, didn't you shoot a coil through one?I've never blew up a DD 1508 or a 1008 ...Tommy...I know how to hook up a system...I did have a surround come unglued at a show...but I still continued playing it even with the surround unglued...lol....I dropped it off at DD last wed to have a new surround put back on it....
