why such a tiny v8?

because it had 4bolt mains and made tons of torque. we had it in a "street legal" drag car. had a t56 on the back of it and it could spin 5th.

Back in the 70's my dad turned his 327 SBC to 8K no scatter shield. It was a miracle of God that the clutch didnt go.

I dunno about shooting all the way through the head and valve cover; but I saw a friend blast one through the front of the crankcase in a 4-banger Ford Probe once.

We were screwing around on backroads sorta playing car tag and I looked in my rearview and saw a sh!t-ton of white smoke. We pulled over in a neighborhood and opened his hood and saw the huge hole. Not real sure how it happened though.
