serious amp ? / ps cant pos threads

well i hooked up my new voodoo amp, and yes its loud and sounds 10x better than my profile, but it after driving for a little bit it makes my car shut-off and even when the volumes at 0 and the HU is off, i have to dissconnect it from the battery for it not to do it but even then it did it once but that was the first time i started it after i unplugged it

update: im still pretty sure its my amp, but it seems to shutoff only when i first start my car, like when i turn the lights on, when i hit a bump(maybe) and when im going slow, and today it when it shut off the battery light came on and it wouldnt restart right away, but im seeing full voltage like 14-14.4 and 12+ when off

update: Well now its working for a little while but then if i turn it up my subs will lke hit a little and then just sound like there ticking or bottoming out it also seems like it does this when i slowdown or have alot of electronics things goin but not always (lights fans wipers etc.)... im having no voltage drop (according to my deh-7700) or dimming lights. Now this happened with my other subs to for a couple days but went away and didnt make my car shutoff! im running a fuse b4 6 inches from my battery and amp.

any thoughts? this is really weird and theres alot of differant things happening!

Like, bolted right to the inner wheel well in the trunk?

Depending on what kind of car you have the body may be isolated from the frame and this may not be giving you a good ground at all...

really thx, i'll try somewhere else, but it worked for my other amp,

well another update, it worked fine, but when i turn it up the subs kinda cutout and like sound like there just ticking or bottoming out and then i turn it back down to average volume and they work fine, but then they go into the ticking mode for a few seconds and then regular mode and it just keeps getting worse and worse untill i turn my subs off and the process starts all over again next time i drive somewhere, i'll try a new ground!! any other thoughts? thanks!!!!
