could i seperate 2 sets of 2 ways and parallel wire the midbass's together and tweeters together to achieve a 2 ohm load at the amp with the correct x-over points

I am trying to run four 2 ohm channels with a set of alpine coax's and a set of comps

i figured if i could remove the tweets from the coax's and wire parallel with the comp tweets and same for the mids i'd be able to run 2 ohms to the amp

anyone ever tried this?

Try them paralleled and see how they sound. I run 2 sets of Polk coax's for rear fill and haven't noticed any issues even though I know it effects the xover points/slopes...
