I have a 97 Camry. CDT EF-61 w/ 1" tweets in front. Kenwood KFC-6990ie 6x9 2-way in rear deck. CDTs are powered by Aura RPM2300 2x150W amp, Kenwood 6x9s are powered off Alpine CDE-9852 HU.

How would I go about doing this if my fronts are powered off amp and rears are powered off HU. The amp has gain control and crossover frequency, HPF or LPF, ranging from 30-300hz with 18db/octave slopes. It also has variable bass boost from 0-10 db at 45hz. Is it recommended I use bass boost? And which crossover should I use, HPF or LPF for the amp?
I'm planning to just play the -3db test tones with everything flat and raise amp gain, and leave HU alone. What frequency should I use for test tones? 10hz? I don't see a 1hz there. Or should I set the gain for the amp with HU off then turn amp off and set gain for rear speakers with HU?
