Selling Pioneer 6800, thoughts?

I'm not good at judging the value of an item. So I turn to you.

I have had issues with this deck that I myself inflicted; Namely blown RCA pre-outs. I had the deck warrantied and when I got it back, it still made noise. I became angry, but atleast the noise was less. I ended up taking out the deck myself and throwing on the RCA ground mod, but it did not help.

Yesterday I figured out why; I went in the trunk for the first time in a while and realized that my amp was LAYING ontop of my distribution block. I had forgot to screw the amp down in a haste to get the deck in!

Moved the amp, and would you know, the noise went away! So I did the ground mod for no reason.

The condition of the faceplate is usual wear and tear. It has the 'sun marks' on it, or those fine little scratches, but they are not bad. Everything on the unti works fine and I even have an extra jack for the front faceplate that I'm going to add with it.

Do you think 120$ is a fair price in original box, with all paperwork and the cable, and an iPod airclick(for the iPod users)?

E-bay refurbs are going for 150$, and used are anywhere from 110-150 from what I saw.

you more then likely wont get much for it. you can start a for sale thread and see what you can get for it. start your price you want and let them talk you down to a price you can agree is fair. good luck

I would, but I'm building an external drive and getting the Kenwood with USB support for pretty cheap (hookup). This should hold me over until they start releasing good 6.5" touchscreens with USB support (hopefully 2.0 by then).

So the deck goes either way.

I was afraid of it. I bought the deck for 250$, but oh well, that's the way it goes.
