k, thats a diagram of wires i am looking at. I took my stock amp out (rear "sub" amp) and im planing on toying with it. There are a black - red - yellow/red - gray/red - white/red wires. the gray/red and white/red are insulated with aluminum foil, and have bare wire wrapped around them, but only is connected to the "car plug", and stop before the wire gets to the amp plug. There was a copper cable that hooked up onto a bolt which i figured was greound and im almost sure it is because inside the amp there are ground connections to the body of the amp (where it was hooked up). My guess is..
RED - 12 v
BLACK - 0 v (would there be a ground and a 0v wire from the stock HU?)
White/red Gray/red - Audio outputs
Red/yellow - turn on? (is there one on stock amps?)
thanks guys..
