security code for cd player

I have a Kenwood KCD-X815 cd player for my car. I wrecked the car that it was in, and am now trying to install it in my new car and for the life of me cannot remember the security code. Kenwood says that I can have it decoded but I would have to send it in. Does anyone know anyway around this. Could I do it myself or is that my only option. I live in Iowa and the closest Kenwood shop to send it to is in New Jersey and I am kind of anxious to get it going. If anybody knows anything, HELP!

Sorry, I think your stuck sending it in.....Are you sure there is no kenwood service center in your area?
