y they stealin my bucket?
how do you guys secure your pods to your kick panels? i just made a pair for my SLC's and was thinking of different non permanent ways to secure it... and came up with a possibly good one...silicone. i applied it the other day and had all sorts of crazy props to let it dry in one position. it feels pretty firm, but do you think this will hold up to daily abuse? and by abuse i mean passengers that dont know my car yet kicking them by accident, etc. just wondering what you guys use to attach em semi permanently.

also, whats the best way to secure the shell to the "cover" (the whole fleece part). i just went around the edge with my resin mixture untill it stuck to the shell. should i also fiberglass the inside edges? its been fine so far, but over time will it release?

and also i did searches for both and came up with nothin

Either use the stock pieces... or even screw them into the floorboard with silicon on the back so the floorboard doesn't rust.

As for securing the shell as you put it. I usually stretch the fleece, staple it, then resin it. But if the resin obsorbed into the fleece it should be fine. make sure you get the inside also.

back straps and metal screws is what i use but silicon glue is probably strong enough. az's idea would also work. to hold the fleece in place you can use hot glue to actual resin if you put enough hardener in it
