I thought I would keep everyone posted with the progress of Second Skin Audio.

The web site is being worked on, and should be ready by September 1st.

Thanks to all whom entered the contests. In the end I decided to have Braingiants.com make the site for me. This is the same guy that made the http://www.onyxaudio.com sites.

Over the last few days I have been coming up with the text for the site, mostly product stuff, and about the company info.

here is a list of the products that will be featured on the new site.

so far everything but Spectrum is there.

tell me what you think.

Damplifier

Second Skin Damplifier is a highly flexible composite mat consisting of a self-adhesive bitumen base matched with an aluminum heat shield. Damplifier is a peel and stick material that is applied to the metal panels in your car to dampen vibrations and reduce unwanted road noise. Damplifier also protects against rust and acts as an insulator, helping to keep your car cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. For greater sound control, use Damplifier in conjunction with Second Skin Lead Liner or Vinyl Liner

STFU-80

Designed for the SPL and SQ competitors, STFU-80 is the thickest sound and vibration isolator available to the public. It consists of an extruded butyl rubber based damping system with a 3-mil aluminum foil heat shield designed to reduce structure-borne sound and insulate your car. STFU-80 is twice as thick as conventional dampers and delivers 250% better vibration damping results than traditional mastic and asphalt extensional dampers. Because of its unique blend of butyl rubber this product can withstand temperatures over 300 degrees F. yet remains flexible enough to mold to the contours of any vehicle. For greater sound control, use STFU-80 in conjunction with Second Skin Lead Liner or Vinyl Liner.

OC-25

OC-25 is a simple yet highly effective product consisting of acoustical grade open cell foam and an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. OC-25 is designed to adhere to the back of plastic panels to absorb rattles, and diminish airborne sound. Once installed, it creates a cushion between the plastic panel and the metal structure the panel is secured to. OC-25 helps reduce road noise, engine noise and exhaust noise within the cabin of your car and helps keep the music in your car.

Motor Mat

Second Skin Motor Mat is a 1/2" thick, high temperature hood liner made of an acoustic grade, open cell foam with reinforced aluminum facing. Motor Mat also boasts a high temperature, peel and stick acrylic adhesive for easy installation. Motor Mat is designed to reduce engine noise inside the vehicle, and to protect the paint on the car hood. It can also be installed on the firewall for greater sound isolation results. For best results under the hood, use Motor Mat in conjunction with STFU-80.

Vinyl liner

Vinyl liner is a highly effective barrier and absorber composite, consisting of a 1/8" vinyl barrier, and a 1/4" thick acoustical grade foam decoupler. Unwanted sound waves pass through the foam where they are absorbed and reduced. Any sound waves that then hit the vinyl barrier reflect back to the foam, which reduces those remaining sound waves even further. Perfect for preventing road, engine and exhaust noise from passing in to the cabin of your car. For best results, use conjunction with Second Skin Damplifier or STFU-80.

Lead liner

Lead Liner is a multi layer composite consisting of a1/4" acoustical grade foam treated with a urethane film facing, a lead barrier and a 1/4" thick foam decoupler.

Because of the pliable lead center, it easily conforms to the contours of any vehicle and is unsurpassed in luxury sound comfort products. As unwanted sound waves pass through the foam they are absorbed and reduced. Any sound waves that reach the lead barrier are absorbed. For best results, use Lead liner in conjunction with Second Skin Damplifier or STFU-80.
