Second Skin Subs and Speakers !

I saw stick with what you do best; sound deadening.

More time you devote to developing subs and speakers is less time you devote to improving your deadening products/developing new deadening products.

i never thought of the sound deadening market as one that was constantly innovating.
Sure it is. In recent years there's been the move away from asphalt deadeners are move towards buytl rubber, for example. Then you have relatively new products like Sludge come out. There are hundreds of innovative things that can still be done with sound deadening.

Kinda like telling Firestone that's the wheels been around for a while, not much more that can be done. It's just round rubber...doesn't sound too exciting. Yet they spend each and every day improving it or trying to improve it in one way or another. Different tread patterns, different chemical composition, etc etc.

There's always something that can be improved upon in the product, or a new product within the same line that can be developed.

Unless you have something big up your sleeve, stick with deadener. By big I mean BIG. Really really big. Bigger than that. You'll have all these BIG new lineups by IA (Warden, anyone?), AA, RE, SI, Adire, etc to contend with and no experience in the world of making speakers and subs.
