I just thought of some more good names whilst I was working:

ExoSkin

TerraSkin

All good suggestions guys!

Just an quick update.

I just tested out our first prototype batch and things look good.

I applied in a single layer at about 30 mils thick, it took an hour to dry (indoors) and was solid after 3 days.

We are going to mess around with different application substrates to see how each react.

First sample was raw aluminum.

We also have to try raw, painted and powder coated steel as well as primed and sanded steel.

Logic tells me that the primed steel is going to do the best but not everyone will want to prime the entire truck bed before applying the bed liner.

I have to make sure this stuff works as advertised no matter what they apply it to.

User error should have no place in any second skin product..

We have decided to move forward with the Second Skin Bed Liner, and we need your help naming it.
We are offering a $500 gift certificate to the person who comes up with the best name for the product.

All you have to pay for is shipping.

To get in on the action, please post your ideas in this thread, or in this thread in the Second Skin Forum.

The final vote will happen on the Second Skin forum, once we have made our fist batch.

Thanks for your help!
