it is a stoppable offence here florida now , that just went into law a few months ago. now they can pull you just for that without any other reason. i suggest darker tint so they can't see if you are wearing one or not but then you'd probably rack up a bunch of illegal tint tickets

the seatbelt law drives me insane. i hate laws that are trying to protect me from myself. when not wearing my seatbelt begins to harm others then ill start wearing it. but telling me i have to wear it and then trying to say its because of safety and not a quick way to make some revenue pisses me off even more.

im all for children having to wear them but if i dont want to wear it i shouldnt have to.

everyone goes 5-10 miles over the limit. so technically they would make anyone pull over on the road.

the first seatbelt ticket, when i was stopped in the street, the cop told me to turn into this parking lot and for 15 minutes as i waited while the cop was processing the ticket whatever, there were 7 or 8 more cars getting pulled to the side lined up behind me

it was like an assembly line of fee revenues for the coppers!!!

Deterent- cops should make there presence known.. it will slow people down and its shown.. ever watch people drive next to or infront of a cop.. perfect drivers when they know he is there..

trap- cops feel the need to hide until you get to close to slow down.. i think if you can slow down in time not to pass em they should let you go as you had control.. a speed trap is not there to help safety.. its there for revenue plain and simple

With a VTEC theres no need for seat belts cause once it kicks in your stuck to your seat.

most of the time you will not be driving around a cop. you want them to just drive around all day??? or they can sit at different locations and people will begin to learn cops always sit there so drive slower, and keep doing this from location to location

It might be like that in your part of NC but my seat belt ticket was $75 plus $125 court cost and the bad part was I had my seatbelt on. When I went to court to fight it I asked the cop that pulled me over if he saw me reach to put it on and he admitted he never saw me reach for it but he told the judge when I passed him at the intersection that I wasn't wearing it and that was all the judge needed to hear.

I happen to live in the only state in the union left where seatbelts are NOT mandatory for adults.
