Hi,
I've tossed this question around on some other boards so I thought I would try hear also. I'm tring to figure out which driver I would like best for a two way front system. I've purchsed a set of rainbow cal 26 silks. I need a driver to match those tweeters. The mid bass driver will be mounted stock location, doors, in a bmw 330 ci. Also there will be a 12 inch sub for lows. I've narrowed it down to the big three; seas w18nx or w18 revs or peerless. music taste are depeche mode, NIN, tool things like that no rap or pop. I've read alot on all the drivers I just can't make up my mind. Anyone with experience or atleast heard these speaks could you please help me out. Is the seas break up in the mid range hard to tune out? Are they to cold, clinical? Do the seas play high enough for cals26 tweeters? Are the scans too bassy? Which handle volume better? Transparent? Maybe some one has used two or three of these drivers and has a fav?
thanks,
brad
