Well after going in 5 times only to get 2 interviews, they finally gave me the drug test papers for employment. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Soooo i have to stay clean till monday, which is really shitty cause i have to get my tooth filled than a couple hours later , piss in a cup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but im not worried.

If i do get the job, ill be working tools/garden slangin lawn mowers and grills at $3 an hour 10% commision ( i think thats what she told me). I never worked retail before and teh commision thing is kinda scary. Does anyone work there? Care to elaborate on 'commision'?

fed minimum is 5.15 i think its 6.25 here in fl.

i asked her about it cause i was like WTF when she told me that. but 10% commision on a 3k dollar tractor is a paycheck....if i would be able to make the sale?

lady was telling me kids bring home 800-1000$ paychecks on commision around this time of year. but how?! theres like 8 people standing around and 2 at the register. i convince buddy to buy a klein tool set + other shit, guy at register rings him up...who gets the 10%? thats what i dont get....

if you take some pain pills at the dentist you better tell them when they piss test you.. or they will think your on heroin... and if they use any novocaine, polocaine, or lidocaine you might test posative for blow.

yeah now that u talk about selling something thats like $3k it does kind of make sense. I wouldn't be able to deal with how much change is in my paycheck everytime tho, I like my income stable.

nope waiters and waitresses make ALOT less than minimum wage.... some places actually set up ways to claim tips to make sure u make at least minimum wage

waiters only make i think it was $2.13hr + tips.. then they are suppose to claim 10-15% on taxes.

Nothing like my friends girl bringin home like $60 checks lol, but the bank rolls of tips were nice im sure

my girlfirend worked on commission with a 6.00 base at a jewlery store. It was great during holidays, but durring the off season, (summer) it sucked. 6 hours, two customers...

holly quick posting.

i know id have to get my sales pitch golden and learn all i can about tractors so i can make the custos feel great about their purchase...but i still dont get how it works. id get commision on tools , tractors , fitness shit , and grills, but i know when i went in there and bought my dmm there was like 5 people walkin around and two at the registers- only the register people get commision?

i.e. : i convince buddy klein > all and he wants to purchase it, but the registers are being used. i know hes not going to follow me around or wait till one is available. so wtf?

i dont understand it. but whatever , im sure ill get the hang of it and if i dont ill go for an hourly pay rate position.
