Searching for cheapest possible subs

The story is I'm fixing up two Mirantz (sp) boxes, and I need 2 10" subs to replace the ones in there (fried). I'm gonna sell the set for a tidy profit.

The originals were designed with a max 100 watts, so ANY 10" sub will work.

I'm hoping $20 for the set + shipping.

Any sugguestions?

Funky pups... do they sell those anymore? I wanted inexpensive, but even that's a bit much!

Pyramid... no comment. Heard they were junk, never actually listened to them, although a friend of mine has a 600 watt amp they build, about as good as my jensen 460.

XSite 300 watt 10" subs, $3.50 apiece! I mean, ****! They're usually heavy suckers, too. gotta mean something! I should just stfu and buy them already. I think for my amp the 600rms would do nice. I'll fill you in on this, if I ever buy them. I need an enclosure too. I hate sell2all on ebay.

Actually, you'd be suprised as to how many people are using the Hyper Pros over on Termpro. They're putting up respectable numbers with them.

If you put 600 REAL watts to a $3.50 sub you'll blow the shit out of it.

just get a single 12" Resonant engineering RE series, or 2 8's.

20$ a set is absolutely ridiculous.

subwoofer is the least important factor in a SQ competion and pretty much any subwoofer could be tweaked to produce a flat respone where needed....
