Searched-notting. Anyone every build or hear/see a sub in a 5.0 vert wheel well????

Well, I got a 15inch L7.

Trying mount it in the trunk wheel well. Any tips?

Do I need to port it? There is not to much air space in there. How will it sound?

Where do I get that ployfill?

Any and all info is appreciated for a new guy. thanx

fiberglass is your friend

L7s definitely prefer ported over sealed

you can get polyfill at Walmart i think

With a 15 L7 i don't think I would go with the wheel well approach just because they need a ton of air space and should be ported for the best results.

If however you want to go through with it for space reasons or what have you, fiberglass is the only way to go, just read up on it a little or ask questions and you'll find it's not too hard. I'm building my first fiberglass stuff right now (some rear speaker pods and a box for my sub) and it's going fairly well.

As far as polyfill, it's good for increasing the lower range of the sub while sealed and is a great idea...as stated above, walmart is your best bet there
