Sealing a wall around the baffle. Gain much on the meter?

Next question. I used some CHEAP sealant on the speaker leads going into the boxes, it all as crumbled or got pulled out when I was wiring the amp (and yes it was dry, was liguid nails sealant or something, thank god i didn't use it inside the box to seal the rest of it). Two per box. THey pretty well have all the area going around the speaker wire to leak air. probably 3/8 inch hole with 12 gauge wire going through it. How much does that really affect. I do plan on sealing it up. just curious

And it is a ported box if that makes the difference. i am guess prob less than .2 db difference

I have a 5/8ths inch hole in the back of my box from some threaded rod i took out.I thought sealing it would help a little but i didnt
