sealed with the lows

i currently have a 12w3v3 in the back of my 06 330i in the zenclosures box (yes i know, prefab, but it does the job) but im looking to upgrade my sub and amp. i want to keep the same box because unfortunately I'm space over bass...

looking for a sub that'll dig lowwwwww sealed. thats all that matters; im basically wondering what sub will hit the lowest sealed. leaning more towards an SQ setup, but literally the only important thing to me is that it has a flat response especially in the LOW frequency range. i haven't heard anything but jlw3, and w6, so im basing everything on specs.

looking at the fi ssd (high qts) and ssa gcon. i do NOT want to spend more than $250ish on the driver. fi q seems to be everything im looking for with its 27mm of xmax, i just really want to keep my budget below $250.

also, got about 1.8ft^3 to work with, can only decrease it.

look at the c2 audio and see if the specs will work for you priced at $129 each DVC 3inch voice coil dual 160oz magnet its very beefy. for sealed you will need to put a lot of power on it unlike ported and these with 3 inch voice coil will take a lot of power even though its only rated at 600w heres the specs

Do you need 1 or two subs?

For cheap two kicker comp 10s will sound good

Two jlw6 10s would sound alot better but pricey

Two idq 10s would sound great

An incriminator audio flatlyne 12 would be a good choice

The jl w6 13.5 works good

Idq or idmax 12 will sound good

2 fi q or ssd 10s or 1 12

Ssa icon or xcon 2 10s or 1 12

Older re audio subs did good sealed

The ultimate seal sub for me was a Mach 5 IXL 12 but they were made in Canada for just a short time and are hard to find

Personally I would go with two 10s or 8 sundown sd2 8s

W7 or the XXX does very well sealed and the low end impact is killer. If you want real impact sealed its going to cost you, you need power and not many subs that take power work well sealed. Look for high excursion and good power handling

Everything except the comp, W6, IDq, Fltlyne. The W6, Q, and Flatlyne are more refrence drivers. Not know for the low end authority. The W7 was designed around a sealed setup so it does have the edge.

this sub in anywhere from 1.5-1.75cubes sealed would have very impressive lows and get fairly loud. This is known from experience.
