what budget subs shine in sealed enclosure. I have a small trunk and I would like to fit 2 12's in it. I am looking for something in the price range of type r's and cvr's.

look into the powerbass s series 12's. they will work in .6-1 cube sealed. 300 rms and will take more. 45 bucks on ebay. great sq and have similar output as the cvr.

they also have more output then the cvr in a sealed enclosure

I really wouldn't recomend the CVR's for a sealed setup. I think they are much more at home in a ported box, this is not to say it can't or shouldn't be done. But, I think you would be much happier on terms of performance with CVR's in ported boxes. Just my 2/100 dollar.

Anyone know of any else subs that hit hard in sealed. All the subs I hear you guys talk about shine in ported. I got a celica coupe so I think if I want to go with two 12's that I would need sealed

CVRs do good sealed, IDs, ED, Soundsplinter, there are many more. dont believe all the talk from these guys. they just follow the trends

Phoenix Gold Xenons work really well sealed and are not too expensive.
