Sealed Enclosure plans for 12" RE SE sub?

I recently bought a 2004 Nissan Sentra. I have a 12" RE SE sub in a ported box, made to RE's specs before RE was bought out and their box schematics were removed by their new owners (I'm still less than thrilled about that whole thing).

The ported box is WAY too big for my Sentra's trunk, so I'll need to either:

-Find a new ported box design which will allow me to fit the sub and amps into the trunk, or

-Find a diagram for building a sealed enclosure for the sub.

Does anyone have plans for either?

My calculations for a sealed box for a 12" SE , with 1.0 cubic foot of space are: 9.5" deep, 13.5" wide, 13.5" long... 9.5"= .79 cu ft, 13.5'=1.125 cu ft, so .79x1.125x1.125= 1 cubic foot.

If these dimensions are incorrect, please let me know.

i have a sentra and i was able to fit a 26" deep, 14" high, and 38" wide box in the trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif...............then i took it out because i had no clearance for the subs to move :X

Anyone?!?

Per RE, their 12" SE has .15 cu ft displacement, and the net volume of the sealed enclosure is supposed to be 1 cubic foot. Therefore, total volume of the enclosure must be 1.15 cubic feet, as told to me by the tech at RE.

So....

I worked up the following INSIDE dimensions for an enclosure: 14"x14"x10"

That will result in gross volume of 1.13 cubic feet...close enough!

Are my calculations correct?

use this site and save your brain.....sealed boxes are very forgiving so being off by .1 will be ok, I liked that sub in a 1.25 box personally....more low end
