Just wondering if .28cu ft would be big enough for 6.5" mids? That's conservative space after bracing and deadening. Speakers are older hertz high energies. It visually looks like a lot of space but doesn't measure out to much.
Another option would be to vent the rear wave back into the car behind the front seats, underneath the carpets. So mids in the kicks built into the subframe and rear wave escaping the subframe behind the seat. That would be an easier job.
