Here's the deal..
Had a local shop custom build a fiberglass box to fit under the seat of my 05 Dodge QC, the box fills the cavities under the left and right bench seat, and entends across. They didnt even seal them off from each other, yet, guaranteed me it would pound!! What a crock of crap. Finally got 2 Memphis M310 Dual 4 ohm wired, dropped them down to single channel 1 ohm, running them off of a Memphis MDC1000, and they sound like Sh!t!@! I was not only bummed, but pissed. I ripped the box out, looked on Memphis' Site for their Dodge QC box, and ordered one. At least this one would have each sub sealed, if nothing else...
So here's the deal. Their aint crap for space trying to port, I know this, the knew box claims about .65cuft per sub, yet, I have read on other places its only .55, either way, I havent put the subs in the new box yet, just havent found the time. I ran 2 RF HX2 Powers wired for 2 ohm off an Orian 250 HCCA in custom sealed .65 boxes in my F150, and they didnt sound bad, but the boxes only fit the 150, so I threw them out since noone wanted them, willing to even give them away, I still have the RF Titanium 6x8 2 ways, I'd be happy to give away if someone paid for shipping...
Never the less, Im caught in a hard spot without having enough space to port, and only approx .65cuft to deal with on each side, which subs are gonna sound best given the conditions and 1100w @ 1ohm...
