What exactly does the V3 mean? There's the original with the XBL^2 motor(like yours), and the new one that looks like a space ship...

As far as i know there should only be the old style (like urs) and new style (the huge looking one)... What's a V3?

EDIT: As far as your question goes... i've heard XXXs like BIGGG boxes, so do maybe around 6-7 cu ft sealed? It might just be in the small side though...

4cu ft sealed...I have two of them like yours.....they are good for 2000-2500 rms

Yup, I have an 18" from '03 with the flat back plate, slightly different than your old '05 12" that I've got sitting here right now as well. Finally picked up the wood for the box earlier tonight. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

They do well in monstrous sealed boxes. 8cubes or more if you have it, if not, they still perform in more normal sizes.

add 5lbs of polyfill. The extra apparent space you'll gain will help the sub out alot 4.5 stuffed is about 5.5 acoustically....
