Seagate 40 gb hd with xp and other apps.

Sorry to thread-dump, but if you hook up that HD in another computer good luck trying to boot it up, you pretty much have to reformat if you are switching mobos. Just some thought.

Yea, they are right, if you dont have the exact same chipset in the computer you are installing this HDD in it will not boot windows, granted these programs get kinda pricey. You would prolly have better luck formatting the HDD and trying to sell it as hardware unless you have the original disk's and keys for all of these programs. that would make it worth what your asking. I'm not dumping your thread one bit, If you can find the disk's that these programs go with you will more then likely get your asking price. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If you have a Windows XP Install disc, you can repair the MBR and NTLDR and it should be able to boot. If not, just plug it in as a slave drive and you should be able to use PS CS2 and MS Works still. I do that all the time when I have files that are too large for DVD's and my Zip drives. I don't think there would be any problem, but I also don't stand firmly by that.
