SE vs. Tempest

Would like to go ported, of course.

Tried to make a poll, but it didn't work. So just give your opinion and why if you will.

I would say SE just b/c they look better but looks mean nothing but those tempest just look like crap... RE all the way...

I know the Tempest only comes in 15", so I assume you would be getting a 15" SE too?

Why are you using 1200watts when the SE is 600rms and 1000max, and the Tempest is 750rms?

Aside from that, I would probably get the SE, if you don't mind spending the extra $50.

2 x 15's. I think you now know why I'm using 1200 watts.

7 cubes is nothing. The Blazer wall was 29ft^3 before displacements.

Looks like we have two for SE, zero for Tempest.

so wait, is your amp 1 ohm or 2 ohm?

I'm assuming it's a 2 ohm, and i'm stupid for asking.. but since the lowest res. the tempests can be wired would be 2 ohms. Just thought you might have over looked that which is unlikely, or adire is hooking you up w/ custom coils.

Other than that i'd probly go w/ the tempests. they have what seems like a little edge on the SE in displacement, but the only problem would be powering the tempest vs. the se.

No problems with power. Easier for me to get the amp after the sub decision. Did the same with my Shiva's (dual 8 as well).

I'd get an amp that does 1200+ @ 1ohm for the SE's or @ 2ohm for the Tempests.

7 cubes huh? i say go with a 18 sx thats what i did, its not hooked up yet so i cant tell ya how it sounds lol but its huge, so im sure it'll be loud. just a thought

SE's, i just love the way they sound and look. Also they take more then 600 rms

SE's because they are that much sexier. Nice subs as well. Either way actually, Tempests just look plain though.
