SDC2.5 15 off a 1208D

Finally got my mind pretty much set on the Aq sdc2.5 15, but,

I wanted to get some opinions first...

Will the 1208d be enough for this sub?

Is ordering from AQ's website reasonably fast and reliable?

As for the enclosure, I'm thinking somewhere around 4 sqft @ 37-38 hz,

from all of the information I have been able to find so far, that seems to be the most promising.

Any suggestions?

BTW, I plan on ordering this sub by the end of the week, maybe even today,

really want to ditch the crappy p1's i got atm weak, I know.

where are u in ohio? are u close enough for me to come steal ur sub when it arrives????

j/k the sub ur getting is only D4 iirc so the 1208d would only be at 2ohm. still fine for the sub, just something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the quick response. Im in cleveland btw. Yea, I was kinda looking forward to running it at 2 ohms, I've been able to really crank up the volume, gain set at 2.5v, no bass boost whatsoever, with little to no voltage drop on stock alt , big 3, and an optima yt. Cant wait to get this sub.

what does the 1208d is rated at 2ohm? 700watt?

That could still be descent, but those subs will take up to 1k watt without problem. I haven't smelled mine yet on a 2006d @1ohm

4 - 4.5cubes with 16^2 of port per cube and 38Hz tuning for daily will work well....
