Well I'm assuming he'd have his box tuned such as ours at DC 32, AQ 36. The SDCs are a little more punchy, and can hit higher notes much louder. Jazz and hip hop is mostly low bass, and the lows on the DCs sound great and get nice and loud. And I know you are just "questioning" me, but I'd say you have to trust me when I listen to both of these subs more than 3 times a week... Granted our vehicles are different, we've also done tweaking and I'd heard enough straight out of the trunk to still come with the same conclusion.
