i would just get a PAC knob..

this one you can get from ebay and its like $6-7 bucks shipped and works great.

i got my scv3000d from the yardsale today, and dont have a bass knob included. where can i find one?

i used the one from parts express to show what i was talking about. From the link i provided they are $14 and some change with shipping. On ebay they are like $7 shipped. These to me are better then using a gain knob. Gain knobs seem to short out easy where as these connect through RCA's
