Nah that stuff scares the hell outta me. I took the beginners lessons and stuff but I panic too easily in the ocean. My dad has dived some pretty nice places tho. I will stick to the boat or land.

Hells yeah. I've been a diver for almost 11 years now. Even went through Navy Dive School. I didn't finish it though because my knee blew out on me. Something about 30 yard sprints on the beach while carrying someone on you shoulders.... Not too good on your joints.

You're diving in Ohio? OMG thats gotta be cold. Here's a trick for you. Make sure you drink plenty of water before you get in. Your pee will help keep you warm. Unless you're in a dry suit. In which case it would then just be gross.

Crap, I just remembered its January also! January in Ohio.... and diving! You're crazy.

Been diving since 95. Did my cert in Okinawa, Japan through PADI. Sadly I haven't been since 2002 and will probably go through a refresher should I become interested in it again. None of my friends seem to care for it, so it sort of fell through the crack after I left the Marines.

thats awesome man, and well the place Im doing it through wont let me do my open water dives till may I believe, but once I get certified one of the first specialties I hope to do is cold water diving then I can dive here all year round!

And have you dived any wrecks?

It's a scuba knife. You load the handle with a Co2 cartridge and when you stab with it you press a button to release to Co2, and whatever you stab literraly blows up into peices. YouTube it their sweet!
