Screws?

Two screw related questions.

1. When connecting ground, is it better to use a nut and bolt combination or self tapping screws? Does it matter what material they are made out of?

2. I was under the impression that my sub would come with screws for mounting? Apparently it didn't, not sure if this is how all subs are or I just got one where they were left out. If I went to Home Depot, etc what kind of screws should I be looking for to secure sub to box?

Thanks for putting up with my constant stream of random questions haha.

Corse thread drywall screws will be fine for relatively light subs. But if the subs are heavy, and not firing up, you may want to bolt them in. T-nuts work well if you can't crawl inside the box to do regular bolts.

Hmm...that's interesting. My RF P1S410s came with screws, and better yet, they were hex-head or w/e you call the type of screws that you have to unscrew with an allen wrench. And RF speakers are not "some cheap as shit subs", they might not be the best, but they are certainly good quality.

Who said that?? Just to let u know RFs lowest model woofers(P1s) aren't exactly high quality, but whatever makes u happy.
