Screw the Police

Maybe, we won't ever know, I'd rather question the system instead of just the guy complaining, what if his rights were really being abused?
That would be a stupid 'wat if' scenario, because we already know he was pulled over for breaking the law. That made him a criminal. Then to top it off, he was driving on a suspended license. What are you going to believe? The paperwork of a criminal or an unbiased database?

Now, the real question is, why was his license suspended in the first place? The answer to taht could tell us volumes about the latter situation.

actually police have discretion, and they are not forced to uphold those laws, so just because their computer system says one thing, and then he presents a paper which exonerates him, does not automatically mean the cop needs to follow the computer.

morons.

Did you even read it?
He was arrested for no insurance and driving on a suspended license.

The insurance paperwork was in the glove box, and the drivers license was paid for and not suspended.

Never said why they pulled him over, I guess they were going slow?
Who cares what speed they were going. They were driving with their caution lights flashing. That's illegal.

County laws and tickets can get thrown out of court because state laws supercede county laws.

I'm not 100% sure on federal laws, but for an example, weed is legal in california but not on a federal level which is why the DEA, a federal institution raids legal medical marij. stores in cali. but local police do not.

Tell him to plead not guity. go to trial and bring proof he had a valid license and insurance. the tickets will be thrown out!!
That's not the problem. I know the tickets will be nullified. I just don't think he should have to pay for the impound fees, either. He'll most liekly get his prostate milked on the impoud fee's though.

Yes he should have. Just for doing the idiotic thing he was. Well maybe not arrested, but impound the vehicle, sure. I have a hard time believing these kids weren't giving them a hard time. While I won't disagree that some cops are assholes. They are outnumbered by the ones who do have respect, so long as respect is given to them. In my experiences with the law I just haven't personally witnessed these injustices. I firmly believe it is because of my attitude and actions during the incidents.
Most of these complainers online are self centered and NEVER believe they are in the wrong. They always paint themselves in a rosy color instead of accurately depicting themselves.
I am a very respectful person. None of us argued with the cops; my buddies girlfriend sat in my car & started crying when she saw him in cuffs. She wanted to get out & yell at the cops, but I didn't let her cause they have a kid and i'm no babysitter. My friend & I have dealt with cops too many times to start arguments & swear at them.

Yeah they said he was driving too slow as to why they pulled him over. Speed limit was 45 on that road; we were doing about 20. I don't think there's a specific 'minimum' speed law.

On some roads it is posted I.E. highways. A local highway is 70MPH speed limit with a MIN. or 45 or 50 posted. Not sure on roads like the one he was on with a speed limit of 45 MPH. I haven't seen them on too many speed limit signs. Probably a discretion thing officers go by.

Like roads with construction and those large tractors that can only do like 25 mph tops driving down the road.
