ive put all my aluminum cans in a barrel for an old guy to collect for years. He'd come bout every week or so, and 2 weeks ago he said it wasnt worth the gas anymore. That said, i drink beer everyday, even right now as i type.

i also have neighbors put their cans in the "collection bin". he said hes done.

I can get that at work. This is just old wires and fittings throughout the years. I need to scrap it, just forget lol.

my old job i worked at a chrome plating company. they had 3 lb golf ball sized pure copper for the copper tanks. i would take one of them balls each day or so when i was like 21. had probably 50lbs of pure copper balls. couldnt take it anywhere because it was a pure substance and you need a permit to house and use pure copper in form. still have that crap at the storage shed at my moms house. lol

i dont have pics at the moment. but they are burred deep in the shed under alot of other things thats been sittin there for a year or more. ill try to find a pic of what they look like

Scrap metal is terrible right now. A year to two years ago I was getting around $200 a ton for scrap, now its closer to $70/ton. Almost makes chopping it up and loading it into my truck not worth it. Well, its worth it when its on company time! haha "Just cleaning up, Boss!"
