Scosche Wiring Kit (walmart)

personally, i wouldnt run anything less than 8(4 gauge is ideal) guage. I would use the thickest cable you can, not only for safety reasons but because sooner or later you might want to upgrade and it will pay off to already have cables ran that will work rather than have to purchase new ones and rerun.

the main thing is....I wouldn't use Scosche crap from WalMart anyway. Buy a better amp kit. I just bought a 4Gauge from a local shop for $39.95. I only need an 8Gauge, but since they were the same price and I might upgrade later, I figured bigger is better..lol

i got a 4gauge scosche kit from walmart that included a digital capacitor for $80, i too figured it had to be cheap crap. but i was actually really suprised how good quality it was.

wire was oxygen free copper, thick high temp sheeth, platinum 3 way battery terminal, twisted pair rca cable, digital readout cap with mounting brackets..etc

i mean i've looked at kits costing $200 and i didnt see much difference, best money i've spent out of all my stereo stuff.

you may have lucked out, but my friend said that Scosche kits aren't exactly what they claim....they use a thick insulation to make the wire be what guage they say, but the actual wire is like 2 gauges less...so a 4gauge kit would actually have 6 gauge wire....and I wouldn't want a capacitor anyway, waste of money, IMO anyway

my amp holds up to 4guage, and it just fits in snuggly.

no doubt its not for the elite hardcore audio geek, but for anyone lookn to save some cash then its probably as good as it gets for best bang for buck in the wire kit department

I disagree!! This is best bang for the buck in wire. in reality its like 17ft 2 gauge and 3ft Ground, 20+ft of 4or8ga and rca and crimp rings

I have Scosche 4-guage, with Kicker Interconnects, and I upgraded the fuse holder to a RF 150-Amp Platinum Fuse Holder for 4-Gauge input/outputs. That kits plenty for your power needs. I am running a Kicker 06ZX850.2 bridged @ 4 ohms to my Kicker 12L7 DVC-2 pushing 850 RMS x 1 channel. My Scosche wire is fine, I would upgrade the fuse holders and interconnects, those are crappy, besides that you are good.
