scosche ha1707dgb dash kit

Hello all,

I am a newbie here. I recently purchased a Scosche double din dash kit for my previous indash dvd player. ( aftermarket) I purchased the head unit from amazon, ultimately it came from china I believe, however the issue is the head unit appears to be slightly bigger than the install kit.

Is there anything I can do ?

I've attached pics. any help would truly be appreciated.
