Blown Headunit?

While installing a new ground on my HU I dropped a washer inside the HU. I plugged everything to see if it would work with the washer inside the HU. It didnt. So I took the HU apart and took out the washer and still nothing. So I unplugged my HU and plugged in my EQ, which was not plugged in at all until now. My eq didnt work either. Using a multimeter I tested the wires at the headunit and eq and my constant is at 12v and my remote is at 12v when the car is on. No fuses are blown but nothing is working. What is wrong with my headunit, is it blown?
