Scammed on 3 12" JLW6's

The subs, were they in their orginal box w/original packing? I'm betting not. The magnet MAY have slipped.
That happened to an SE I got from Cappy....makes for a sad day and sux for you right now. It'll all work out as long as the shipment was insured.
Yah, it was original packing. He duct taped the 3 original boxes together and wrapped it in brown paper. The box with the busted sub was prety focked tho.

Well, I guess I just got scammed on life.

Should I file on all three woofers, or just one? they were all in the same package... Which was all insured.

THis is how he replied....

I have no idea. Everything was working fine when I took them out of my truck a few months ago when it died. Only thing I can possibly think of is that happened and I didnt notice, but I dont see how I couldnt hear that.

He says...

I did tell you staright up, i took them out of the truck and put them in the boxes until i sold them. I didnt test them becaus ethey came right of the truck. Didnt mean to sell you something that doesnt work, would never do that onm purpose. Tell me what you think would be a good solution.

To whichj I replied...

I guess I can take it past the Post office tomorrow. If they refuse the claim, I will ask for either a full refund, where I would ship the subs back to you, or a refund for the one that is blown. How does that sound? The boxes were somewhat crumpled in there... They very well could have been fine when you sent them. Let me know.

The shipper is responsible for the claim. I wouldn't even try to mess with it. Ask for a refund and ship them back. If nothing comes of that, persue your other options. Trying to get a claim on insurance is the last thing YOU want to hassle with.

Oh well, this guy is cool as hell. If it's broke he will refund //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Thanks very much for all the help, posting a lil feedbak for the helpful ones //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

insurance is not impossible, it's just a hassle that can be a very drawn out process. IMO, I feel it's best to speak with the seller and if possible, get a refund and return the items. Let them deal with the trouble of insurance.

We live in a small town, I know the lady at the post office, she will probably give me the claim... I don't know how it works though. Any pointers?

Well, the PO is a government controlled company so you do the math. I had to deal with them on insurance claim once for a measly $15 and it took me 6 months to get the money. The lady you know is nothing more than a face. She will not handle the claim herself and take care of it all. It has to go through all the "political" chains if you know what I'm saying.
