Mostly interested in the output at 2 ohm though.

Also wondering what RMS wattage of a d4 sub I can run in 2 ohm.

Example: the saz1500d v1 claims 800w rms. I'm assuming it does around 1k @ 2 ohm. Would a 1500w rms d4 sub be a good match in this case?

Rated power output

----RMS power, 2 ohm linkable/dual mono 3000W x 1CH

----RMS power, 1 ohm mono 1500W x 1CH

----RMS power, 2 ohm mono 800W x 1CH

----RMS power, 4 ohm mono 400W x 1CH

if you do a search on this forum there is a guide on how to measure your actual rms of your amp

actual increase in benched power is irrelevant in this case when you factor in impedance rise and some voltage drop so expect the published rated power

****, first time I heard that. Good point.

also som1 elses amp wont have the same output as your amp even if they are the exact same.
True, but it will be pretty close won't it?

It will still need decent electrical to do rated power. So worry about having good batteries and heavy cables rather than how much power your amp is capable of

Momax and side show are 100% right. Every test will vary if its vehicle/power supply or woofer/resistive load and box rise changes.. But here's a test of the three impedances you've asked for anyways

4 ohms 1% THD 611 watts RMS

2 ohms 1% THD 1048 watts RMS

1 ohms 1% THD 1656 watts RMS

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

Which amp and which speakers? What crossover are you using? You may be fine so long as you never push the volume too hard.
