SAZ1500D enough for two HDC3 10's?

or would it be better to stick with one

get 3kw if you're running a pair, anything else and you're not tapping into the hdc's full potential.

if they are the copper coils, you will need 2 of the 1500d's

if they are the aluminums, you will need about 5-6kw to get full potential. 3kw works perfect for my aluminum coiled hdc in 4 cubes. i could get away with 4kw i would think (rated, not true real world wattage. im sure you understand what im getting at)

jesus i haven't done enough reading...i just checked out the sight and saw 1kw RMS per sub...they are insanely underrated.

I'm sure the HDC's will get reasonably loud off a single 1500D, you just won't be getting the max out of them. Less chance of hurting stuff and you can always add a 2nd 1500D when funds permit...

I am happy with my one 10" HDC on a 1500D. It is tuned at about 38hz and peaking at 51hz doing 141 at the headrest. It is plenty for my daily setup. If you already have the amp, you should go with one 12 and give it plenty of airspace.
