Saz-3000d Vs Dd Z1?

Depends on your definition of a good battery. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would also recommend the sundown. Better service, reliability and the difference in power most likely wouldnt even be audible.

Deka and powermaster arent really even in the same category imo.
If you are set on only running two batteries get the powermasters. They should suffice.
so what ive heard of the 2 batts being around the same power was wrong? if so how much better are the powermasters compared to their prices and is it worth it?

ok so with a 200amp alt, a good batt under hood and 1 good batt in back, would i be able to get them numbers with the sundown?
You don't have enough current to support anything more powerful than the 3000D for continuous operation. It is unlikely you would see any benefit from a larger amp for anything but a burp.

Also, if your amp is an original Z1 I have read that they tend to have issues and are no longer supported by DD for repairs. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I have heard.

Yes the information you have heard in regards to the batteries is in correct //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Its nearly impossible to compare batteries by specs alone.

IMO powermasters are quite a bit better batteries than deka. Dont get me wrong Deka's are hard to beat for the money, even with the price increase, but I wouldnt compare it to a powermaster.

well in that matter how would powermaster compare to kinetiks? or are powermasters IMO the best?

jacob what would be ideal electrical for an sax 100.4 + 3000d for daily full tilt use?
What do you consider "full tilt" ? Actually producing full rated output continuously on songs that are pretty much sine waves and/or Bass CDs... or, very loud actual music listening?

For the former... 300 amp alternator + 2 batteries.

For the latter... your 200 amp alt + 2 batteries is fine.

From what I have seen the powermasters are slightly better than kinetiks but definitely much closer than deka and powermaster. You probably couldnt go wrong with either to be honest.

Go over to soundpressure and read all the horror stories about the Z1, that will answer your question. Thats the reason I never went with DD amps, too many stories of popping noises, burnt fets, all kinds of shit. Then people waiting 3-4 months to get them back. You can pick up 2 3000D's for the same price, and IF you have problems with them you will have a new amp in days. I had to send my 3000D in for repairs, I had a new one 2 days later, same thing with my 100.4, took 2 days to be replaced. With customer service like Sundown has, why not go with them. Oh yeah Jacob I am sure you are reading this, come out with at least a 7k for us //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

well i think it would be very loud actual music listening as i like cranking it to the point where i can no longer hear anything around me and at the same time getting the optimum output of my amp?

Indeed. Issues can arise with any amp, when they do it's nice to know that you have a solid warranty to back you up.

If you can find about 30 other guy that want to pre-order some I'll do it *laughs*

You should be fine with a 200-amp alt and two batteries for music.

As long as you don't sit there and burp a sine wave for 15 minutes at a time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
