Saz-3000d Vs Dd Z1?

Well ran the Atomic 3000.1 2007 model and its the same amp as the SAZ3000D and there not to bad, but the DDZ1 is alot stronger overall!! over 5kw @ 1ohm with the DD and 3.5kw with the Sundown, but the sundown will run .5ohms daily and do around 4kw then, and the sundown will do .25ohms for burps, so its hard to say.

im quite sure the sundown is capable of doing 4-5kw on real good electrical stable at round 14.4v? but correct me if im wrong cuz i think thats what i read sumwhere:confused:

Yeah they will do around 4-4.2kw @ .5ohms and a lil more at .25ohms for burps but for daily you can get the most out of the DD Z1

so for daily the dd z1s would better suit me? also are the prices on these also better than the sundowns?

You can buy a used DD Z1 for around $750shipped, a new sundown will be around that same price, but for daily if you use it at 1ohm you will see over 5kw with the DD amp, but its hard to say, the Sundown is very reliable

so wait how much watts would the sundown be able to actually do at 1ohm daily? and what ohm are they running it at in this test-http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7900

That was on a 16v system where at worst it dropped to mid 14's in voltage. You will not see that in your car without fairly strong modification, keep that in mind.

The atomic 3000.1 shares the saame board, but there are plenty of other things different with it vs the Sundowns. Sundowns do plenty morep ower than the Atomic, fyi.

Anywho, although I used to love DD. Sundown or RD or another similar zenon based board would be your best bet for daily power. DD is a nightmare to deal with in regards to customer service

ok so with a 200amp alt, a good batt under hood and 1 good batt in back, would i be able to get them numbers with the sundown?

Testing the atomic 3000 and using it as your comparison against the z1 is not fair. The saz3000 does more power than the atomic.

As for the question, the z1 might do a couple hundred more watts in a burp test but its less efficient. And more money. Plus you can't beat the customer service of Jacob and sundown.
