you would actually be surprised to how effiecient it is. i have an 09 scion xb and i have upgraded wires and all and just 2 batts and never dropped below 13

I'd say just 2 batteries total if you kept it above 1 ohm and weren't really abusive. Have used plenty of 3K's and 2K's. GLWS, these amps are beast.
