Buddy bought a 1500d and it broke and no help from sundown.

Who is your buddy ? I don't recall anyone whom I haven't helped with a damaged product.

I am local to RD and know alot of people local running RD products and they love them. Seems like Steve loves helping out the locals all my buddies got KILLER deals on some RD products. I personally myself am thinking about giving some RD's a try.

I'm also local to RD, and I will say this.

Both amps, as stated, are similar. Different parts, both are very high quality amplifiers.

The shady business practices has been told time and time again, and sobeit. If you check, the people who caused all of the problems are gone and no longer affiliated with RD. Steve is a great guy, and spends time on his customers and I've not had a single problem out of the man.

I've also talked to Jacob a few times on here, he seems to be a genuinely nice guy and, as stated, has great customer support. You will not be disappointed with either item.

X2....I'm local as well and have seen Steve (RD owner) at 3 different competitions and have talked to him some....He's never done anything to make me think he's a jerk...In fact I've also met some of the people who sell his products and they are all cool guys.....I've heard several systems with RD subs and amps and have been very impressed with them....

Although, I am using Sundown due to the fact I hadn't heard about RD when I bought the amp....I've been super happy with my SAZ 1500D.....It is a VERY strong amp.....Never over-heats.....I've also emailed Jake (Sundown owner) before and he got back to me very quick.....

I'm seriously considering getting some RD Alpha's when I save up enough money to replace my 4 year old Powerbass subs....They are still hangin' in there and they have been great subs..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Can't speak on RD, but Saz-1500D is a very strong amp Significantly more effiecient than some others I have used. Support is A+.

I agree with you as far as efficiency....I actually had a conversation with Chris at dB-r.com and he said they have ran these amps at 9 volts and they still played.....That says a lot about how good they are....I know that my car is in dire need of a bigger alternator but my Sundown still works perfectly when it's being starved.....
