ok so im lookin at the hifonics 2000 watt amp to power my aq hd3 and i went to the local audio shop to have them build me a box and they said that i would only be like getting 400 450 watts. i thought i was just a sale pitch but he didnt try selling me any thing. any fyi i have a stock electrical system. how much should i expect out of the amp?

it aint true,

as long as your electrical is showing the amp 14volts youll get very close to what the amp can do.

its the 2006 model and the sub would be duel 4 ohm and the amp would be wired down to 1 ohm.

FYI- It's the speaker that determines the ohm load on the amp.
