Saw a pic of the new L7's and L5's

I had one of those with the grey cones. I loved how the 12's could fit into 1cu ft

i did a install with 2 8(the black one piece cone versions) in a ver small 4th order bandpass

the box was 32 wide x 10high x 10dee with a 40 square inch port tuned to 72hz

and t was very loud ..peopl thought we had 2 12's

but was just throwing the :could: out there for you, bigger spider allow a little more travel, i believe tc uses a little bit bigger spider in their subs

Don't know any new prices, but I do have the old MSRP prices here so you can get a reference.
L7 12=$449

L7 15=$549

So the guesstimated prices that were posted before probably arent too far off. But remember, this is MSRP.

yea..remember MSRP...if u look on ebay u can get a pair of 06 L7s for 500 shipped..i remeber when they first came out on ebay u could get 2 for about 600 shipped..

daangg... my l7s coil is rubbing and i just built the box so im lookin for another L7. if the 06 price drops, ill buy an 06.... but if this is better, i might pick one up.

Look for many price drops and 2 for the price of one deals.. they happen every time kicker revamps their line and it usually means i end up considering getting more kicker stuff

they use baskets that allow for bigger suspension... aka 10" spiders

personally...i will not buy a solobaric until they bring back the old round ones (99-2000) versionsall they have to do is up the power handling and better cooling and thats all

seriously look at the CVX then, if small sealed is what you like, plus the CVX handles twice as muich as the round C or D series solo.

the L5 was changed alot, L7 is ALL new.....wait til after CES to get the break down...and yes, they are alot beefier..
