2 polk dxi 12s 4 ohm dvc built to spec ported box 400 watts rms a piece at 1 ohm. 4v pre out signal from a pioneer premier DEH-P610BT head unit.

decent out put? and decent set up for a daily driver system that will be used from hip hop to country also staying in the 300 dollar range for box amp and subs.

Also, i know it is a debated topic but should i put a 1 farad cap in the wiring for good measure for the low bass?

any better ideas within a max budget of 350 dollars let me know im still learning

Caps have nothing to do with any bass, low or other.

If you're not going for the LOUD system this should be pretty good for 350.

not alot what you can do with that much money i think.

thanks for the replies so far and so is the cap a waste? and previous to this i has 2 diamond d3s ported with 1000 watss rms at 1 ohm im assuming this wont do anywhere near that amount of sound but i wish i could hear the set up or had something tangible to compare t to because the acoustics in beat buy are too good so the out put of the dxi is decieving when tested there although i presume i will be happy with it as long as its louder then 2 boston g1 12s sealed with 250 watts rms

The cap is useful for self defense, maybe. Never heard those subs but for that money your options are limited, have you checked the classifieds here?

no i have not checked the classifieds and if i wanted a decently loud system for daily use for alot of different types of music and the budget was say 600 would that be better and what would you recommend?
