i have a sansui sm-3000 i acquired free because it makes a whirring noise when hooked up. i am thinking it has a bad cap or resister or noise blocker or something that is going to require a walkthrough and a multimeter. i am thinking also that this is an old amp because i cant find a schematic no where, just wondering if anyone has one or knows what the problem might be, thanks in advance. i cant remember exactly but i am pretty sure it does the sound even with the car off. Also i have tested another amp with the same car, radio, speaker setup and it works fine.
